He's not big or fast enough to project as a TE.
There is a reason why some draft analysts ranked Tebow as a TE option in the draft 3 years ago, until RG3, the NFL had never seen a more athletic QB. Yes his 40 time wasn't particularly special, but having the fastest overall short shuttle regardless of position, and 3rd fastest 3-cone, again, regardless of position, the best vert EVER for a QB (and one that puts most WR/TEs to shame w/ 40") all while being 6'3" 245 lbs, Tebow has plenty of athleticism to make a position change if he's willing.

Personally I think he's a zone read QB, but I wouldn't want him b/c of the media distraction for a strictly backup QB. If you are giving him a chance to compete, then I think he's worth it, otherwise he's not.

I can't see him fitting in with Trestman's system, so no. That said, he's not a bad QB and I hope he goes to a team that will actually utilize him properly.

Oh please. Tebow attempted eight passes last year, and just 82 in 2010. In his only "real" season he completed less than half of his passes. Tebow isn't a good QB - he's a guy who won against sub .500 teams behind a great defense. Nothing more.

That was probably one of the worst comparisons I've ever seen on here.

The comparison was a joke. Obviously I'm not arguing that he has anywhere near the talent of Cutler. I just don't think it's fair to say that he shouldn't be in the league given his record so far.

I do find it funny that you should say this, however:

Because this was basically Cutler's season this year.
