With Cris Carter getting inducted into the Fall of Fame the Vikings will now have 10 players in the Hall that have played at least 5 years with the Vikings. My personal favorite is still John Randle. Who's yours? _________________

Cris Carter is among the players that got me wanting to play football. I would play catch with my dad out in the street and toe-tap catches using the curb as a sideline.
His analyst stuff has taken some of the shine off the apple, but, on the field, his performances were the most enjoyable for me to watch. _________________

I grew up watching John Randle, Randall McDaniel and Cris Carter so these three always have a spot in my heart. _________________

Tarkenton.
while Alan Page was a great player, he also had an enormous skill set to succeed with. Tark did not, and got by on his smarts and determination. and retired owning every significant NFL career passing record, only broken by Marino and then Favre.
you guys would have loved him! _________________

For me it's a tie between Johnny Randle and Carl Eller. I loved watching Randle get after the quarterback, and also his antics on the sidelines.
As for Carl Eller, I met him at the Mall of America one night, and he seemed like a real nice guy. I was happy to see him get inducted into Canton. Now we just need to get Marshall in there. _________________

I don't think there's been a more difficult question to answer in any thread in this forum.
I have to go with Tark, but wrestled with 4 others. . . . lol |
