Laws are different by state. New York City is one of the worst places to get caught holding a gun like Burress did. |

no, he is right. Teams knew that Bowers would be arrested for a 2nd degree gun crime in the offseason after his sophmore season, and that is why they passed on him.
It is amazing what scout's can do these days...simply amazing.

NFL players getting worse sentences than average person who commits the same crime? Where's Da'Quan's trial at, the Twilight Zone? |

Has he ever got in trouble with the law before, or is this a first time?
Does Tampa Bay cut him? Its not like he's doing anything there anyways it seems.

Was going to post the same thing. It's happened before, it'll happen again. It's a stupid oversight, but I seriously doubt anybody is intentionally bringing a gun onto a plan. Dumb mistake to make, but I don't expect there to be a huge fallout from it.
