To me, the questions and/or concerning the Browns going into next season, and how they are answered/addressed will have IMO a huge impact on whether or not the team will evolve into a winning franchise, or stay mired in the no-no spot of the AFC North. Hence, I pose this question to you. |

My head starts spinning when I try to figure out the conundrum that is the Cleveland Browns.....just seems like we are so close and yet do far away at the same time |

The ONLY concerns I have are Banner's desire to have his 4'11" shadow looming large over EVERY aspect of this franchise (particularly in areas he knows little to nothing about) and Lomabrdi being anywhere near the offices in Berea.
Other than that, I'm good |

That means you hate the team and should give up. Or so I've been told.
Couldn't agree more.
I'm also concerned about the defensive switch leading to more holes in the roster going into 2014, but not nearly as much what you posted. |

Im concerned about everything except for Haslam returning to Pilot Flying J
The guy doesnt know anything about X's and O's... why would it matter if he's got a President and a CEO here in Berea... and a VPP... etc
Also, I guess I'm not that concerned about our starting QB. I figure it can only get better this year (i hope). |

Seems to me that the talent evaluation/draft picks are pretty darn important no matter who is making the decisions. So is what we do in free agency.
I think what makes those things especially important this year is the switch to 3-4.
The starting QB issue is important, but it's not like we have a huge hole there like we've had in the past.
Haslam's temporary leave to handle the business that allowed him to purchase the Browns seems to be a non-issue.
If I had to pick just one issue, it would be the switch to 3-4, which includes 2 other issues. _________________

FA will set up the draft and directly impact the ability of the team to compete next season....
If we see no Real FA activity then there is not much hope for next year... Too many holes to fill with the draft picks we have. _________________

Great teams will always have some type of hole but you're right.
Get some great players in free agency. |

"We’re going to look like an aggressive, forward attacking defense that has big men that can run and little men that can hit. I’ve seen that on tape and that’s the most important thing to me is what do we look like, not what we line up in. We may be a 3-4 on one snap. We may be a 4-3 on another snap. I guarantee we’ll be a 5-2 sometimes and we’ll be a 4-4 sometimes. We are a multi-front, attacking defense and that’s the most important thing"
The defense doesn't worry me at all. I think hitting on the draft is always important. Our QB has got to put points on the board, the QB no matter what is the most important factor to wins and losses. We can't be spectators in free agency either. _________________
