Hope they can get some 2-guard help in moving him. Outside of Kevin Martin they have no reliable person to give minutes too.

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine 20m
Timberwolves, I'm told, are in advanced discussions with Sacramento on a deal that would swap Derrick Williams for Luc Mbah A Moute

Anyone know anything about him.

maybe I just don't understand basketball, but how is it possible that you draft someone #2 overall and have no use for him and are trying to dump him after two years? was it just a bad pick or was there literally only 1 good player in that draft?

Half of the NBA is body type. Derrick Williams doesn't have quick enough feet to play the three and he's not big enough for the four. He has skills but he has to be in the right system.

The Wolves never should have drafted him with Kevin Love already on the roster. They should have drafted Klay Thompson.

The NBA draft is pretty much a joke to begin with.

It wasn't a great draft but it was a bad pick. Busts happen in every sport.

Very good defender who can defend multiple positions. Poor on offense. Helps us in the short term as Williams wasn't getting enough PT to develop here. Brewer is also an overrated defender imo so it helps us there. He'll especially help against teams with elite scorers like OKC, NYK, etc.

Seems like Flip and Adleman think this team can contend, or at least make a little run in the playoffs. And we'll have to if we wanna keep K-Love.

Gophers beat Badgers in first Big Ten Hockey game. You could hear a pin drop in that place. I hope that was because of the holidays.
