| Alright, so I'm working on my newest mock and I am really stuck with the Steelers pick and was wondering if you could help me out, since you are the die-hard fans of steeler nation. I would like to point that Star L, Joeckel, Werner, Richardson, Milliner, Fisher, Jarvis Jones, Floyd, Warmack, Patterson, Ansah, Lane Johnson, Damontre Moore, and Vaccaro are all prospects already taken. For pick 17 you have plenty of options including: Ogletree, Mingo, Jordan, Te'o, John Jenkins, and Jesse Williams. I don't care about who's your favorite player, I need to know who you believe will be the most likely pick. Thanks. |

Ogletree and Mingo are the kind that I think Tomlin would like. I don't want either of them, but I'd bet one of those 2 would be the guy.
I think Williams would be the best fit but probably has the least chance of being a Tomlin guy. I think we'd go for Hankins before either Jenkins or Williams to be honest. _________________

What about CB Johnthan Banks? If we lose CB Keenan Lewis to free agency then Banks makes a lot of sense.
I'd take ILB Te'o though. |

Yes, I really think WR could be a 1st rd pick as much as we'd prefer a D player. |

Hoping Patterson falls to 17.
If he's there at 12, I hope they go up and get him. _________________

This pretty much sums it up for me. I wouldn't dislike the idea of Ogletree as much if we had Snacks replacement already. Without a big space eater up front Timmons and Ogletree will probably get eaten alive. |

Got to agree with this. Jenkins is not a Steeler type player. i do not think they would like Allen either. The Draft is fairly deep in WR. Williams could be a pick if they do not think Ta'amu can do the job. _________________

I haven't watched Patterson play so I don't really know much other than the scouting reports. I have seen him all over the place. Is he really worth trading up for? |

wha??? you don't go up to 1.12 to get a guy with a single season of erratic production and inconsistent hands when you have a boatload of holes throughout your starting lineup on both sides of the ball.
Lordie. I like Cordarelle Patterson but moving up to 1.12 to get him??? _________________

and since he didn't set foot on the field in a meaningless week 17 game last season, we still have no idea WTF Ta'amu can do.
but hey, at least Tomlin gets to preserve his "no sub-.500 season" record _________________

| Jesse Williams. Then we'll have the youngest O and D lines. I don't think the Steelers trust Ta'amu and McLendon is a better DE. |

no arguments there, but it's a shame we didn't at least find out if the Ta'amu that dominated Nebraska in the Bowl Game is the Ta'amu the Steelers drafted _________________
