Like I said in the offseason thread, I'd bring him in on a 1-2 year deal to rotate with Wimbley at WDE. We need good vets on our D. Too young of a D IMO.

Agreed if we can get Freeney Canty and some other vets it could go a long way with a defense we need some vets with a voice to really bring out the leadership in young guys like Brown Ayers McCarthy Casey and Klug

| I would not be suprise if we are among the teams to take a look at Freeney. We seemed to always go after former Colts players and Freeney fits a need for us. If the price is right, I'd have no problem bringing him in. |

I'm not really high on him. Maybe if it was a couple years ago I would like him but he is not anything super special anymore and not worth what he will want.

I just want him around Morgan Solomon and any other young DEs we have or bring in

I would not mind taking a chance in signing him. Sign him to a one or two year deal to help out the younger guys that we have now, tell they get pumped up a lot more. Get a good vet in there to show them the real deal. Then when it's there time it would be all worth it. He could fit in out system. His worth the pick up. I feel like he could do something for us. We need something at that end anyways. So why not take a chance and save a draft pick? He still has gas in the tank.

If he still has some gas left in the tank, I'm all for it. I don't expect Dave Ball to return. After Wimbley, Morgan, and Solomon, our depth is full of hit-or-miss players, and Freeney can still be an immediate upgrade over all of them. And he does bring a wealth of knowledge that could help young guys like Morgan and Solomon as Titans fan mentioned earlier. Plus it could rub off an any DE we might draft.

I have zero faith in Dave Ball nothing against him personally just the guys gonna be a mashed potato when he retires theres no way this guy can play without getting a concussion again hes had so many already. We are thin at DE Freeney would be a help
