Pass rush pass rush pass rush pass rush pass rush...can't say it enough. If we had a consistent pass rush I can't imagine how terrifying this defense would be to opposing offenses. Pass rush......
Rush pass rass push PASS RUSH!!!!!!! Let's get em. Btw I don't think guard or WR is a 1st round need. It has got to be best available d lineman. Unless warmack somehow falls. I still have faith in big carp though _________________

To passing offenses, yes. To running offenses...not so much. |

Maybe, but there aren't many real 'running' offenses. Quinn certainly knows who they are & will load up differently. That said, I'm sure help is on the way for both. _________________ "We have met the enemy & he is us."- Pogo |

Our run defense is pretty dang good still. We had our lapses last year but we will only get better. Big Red was also banged up which hurt us I think. But if we improve our pass rush then that will demand more double teams, which then opens up more guys to make plays against the run. So I think if we have a good, consistent pass rush going this defense will be elite on all cylinders. We also may end up with a DT capable of stuffing the run and rushing the passer effectively. Which has been our weak link as of late _________________

I have been thinking of this for the past few days. With the injury of Clem and his age, I feel we need to go DE in the first rd this year I'm not comfortable with Clem coming off of offseason knee surgery and only having Irvin as our primary pass rusher. This thought scares me a bit.. _________________ ....

| I like the idea of getting Dweight Freeny and having him mentor Bruce Irvin and another speed rusher from this draft. |

Forget what I said about not needing a WR, if we go BPA and either Austin, Patterson, or Hopkins are there I'm down for that. Two of them should be. I didn't think Austin would be THAT fast. Welker with a boost pack holy crap _________________

He's a perfect project for a nickel for us. He's that physical, quick playmaker we need at NCB. He makes plays. He'd be a rich mans jordan babineaux for us if pete can get his lid on tight _________________

I'd spend a 6th on him. No more than that. Someone's going to give up a 4th for him. _________________

He is the type of guy I can see Pete and John taking a sleeper pick on and hoping they can get his head straight _________________

i dont care where we take him (after the 3rd) with our track record. When we get our guy, we get our guy. It's when we're forced to settle that we get screwed. _________________

Very little chance of the Seahawks drafting Tyronn. 4 reps of 225?! This team needs guys that come to work. A quote from a recent interview sums it up...
"I'm not one of those guys who gets stronger in the weight room."
