Let's talk about Chuck. I'm going to include a poll about what you WANT to happen. I remember McGinn stating he think GB would be crazy to keep Woodson around with his current contract. I believe this to be self-evident as I suspect most here do as well.
However, his agent has stated that Woodson might be willing to renegotiate a contract. If this is the case, what is the price you'd want to keep him around for? What is he worth to our team right now? How many years might he have left at a capable level if any?
He is set to have about a $9.5million cap hit starting the first day of camp, however at about $10million under right now, GB could use the money at the beginning of the league year to make moves such as tagging Jennings, tendering Shields, signing F.A's and/or extensions.

Cut him. I love what Wood did in his Packer career. Only way I'd consider him back is in the 2-4 Million range with some heavy incentives.
Even 5 Mil is too rich for my blood. To me, cutting Woodson is the only clear cut no brainer decision besides not retaining Jennings. |

Cut him and give the 10m to CMIII or A-Rod NOW!!!
But I voted keep him on current deal because I'm a badass who doesn't play by the rules... |

whoever played when he was out half the year, a free agent, or a draft pick I imagine. |

For some odd reason I feel as if our D was better without him anyways. Casey made him expendable because he proved he can play over the slot.(which is where I like him the most).
I said renegotiate under 5 Mill but I think if he doesn't accept that, cut him. _________________

2-3 mill. Like one of the above said, even 5 would be too much! |

I see this going down like Hawks contract did a few years ago. We cut him, then bring him back on a new deal. He'll get his market value, but ultimately resign with his team _________________

Try and restructure, if not you absolutely release him. Just not worth much more than $2-3 million a year so I can't see him unwilling to restructure his career. _________________

Really helped us in the nickel. I'm fine with this if confidence is in Williams. That's what gets me on this one TBH _________________

If he takes a pay cut into the 2-3 million dollar range then I say keep him. Anything more and we cut him and walk away. _________________

Keep him. Try to save money, but keep him no matter what. 2nd best player on our defense. |
