A new bold change in style

Looks like we've tweaked the logo a bit.

nothing too crazy, but here's the changes we made with the Norseman logo:

1) Horn Shape
The shape of the horns has been adjusted and the shading in the horns has changed.

2) Horn Base
The base of the horn now resembles the horn on the players’ helmets.

3) Face Detail
Thicker lines have been added to the mustache and face.

4) Vikings Gold
The Vikings Gold is now brighter and less brassy.

5) The Braid
The braid has been shortened, resulting in a reduced logo height.

With all that said, I'm cool with it, all though I loved the way the horns used to be.

What other changes to the uniform do you guys expect? Do we get something completely new, or do we mix in some of the old Vikings uniform ideas in as well?

The article does state that the logo enhancements are just the beginning...which could mean, as was rumored before, maybe we'll finally get rid of these ridiculous uniforms.

I expected the Norseman logo would change at some point, just because of the helmet horn change. I do think it works.

I'd love to see a mix of the 1960's and 2012 version of the Jerseys personally.

I like it. This team actually has a sense of style.

dont mean to sound old but ill be very surprised if we go to a more "traditional" look. with whats in today the kids dont like simple. they like fun and new. personally i think going back to our roots is the way to go, like the old black and blue "norris" division, but i realize that i am a 36 year old relic

Gotta say I like the logo ''enhancement''. It's a bit more dynamic this way, I think it works well.

As for the upcoming changes, please Odin, give us a uniform that looks like these throwbacks:

I like the new changes, nothing to drastic. For the uniforms I hope they go with the old school look some people have mentioned in the thread earlier. As far as alternates I think an all grey could look cool, a black one would be interesting.

I'm all on board with the logo upgrade, not a huge change and keeping with the classic look.

Now to the Uni's, I am a bit mixed as far as what I'd like. I'm no fashion expert, I doubt any of us are, so keep that in mind. I absolutely love the retro uniform with the two tone purple and the grey facemask. I think everyone agrees on that, and the ownership recognizes that this is a franchise that has been around for decades and has passionate fans who love a "classic" look to their men in purple. However, as someone stated earlier, the way the NFL views the younger generations perspective is going to be flashier and trending away from what the older generations enjoy (I.E. the Oregon Ducks uniforms). There are certain things I do like about the newer uniforms, such as matte colored helmets which I think would look great in matte purple with gloss white horns. I am not a huge fan of the current Uni's, but I do know they COULD get WORSE. I wish it was something that the purple prideful could vote on, but in the end, we'll have to just trust the brass.
