The 1st pick for the falcons is amazing. Ansah is a big fan favorite for most Falcon fans.
The 2nd round pick i don't think most will like as Ball really isn't that impressive over other Rb's to be worth a 2nd round pick.
Plus the RB spot is super deep this year and we can grab a guy like Randle, Franklin, Taylor, Michaels, Bell, Lattimore, Pryor etc... later in the 3rd to 5th round and truthfully have almsot the same exact talent as Ball does for better value. Gotta think smart here and go bpa at a more needed position that early.
In the 2nd round i would go after a TE there i would say maybe someone like Kelce would be a nice choice. Or if you think Kelce lasts till our 3rd pick go with him there because the LB you gave us isn't a good pick either. He has the same problem Lofton has good thumper but terrible in coverage. Thats why Lofton is not here under Nolans scheme anymore.
The guys i would have probably picked thats available in each position of your mock was.
1st - Ansah - DE - amazing pick you nailed it.
2nd - Kelce - TE - Kid has as much upside if not more than eifert and ertz for much better value here.
3rd - Geathers - NT - We get a stud DT here that can help us in our 3-4 sets that Noland and Smitty said they want to run more of and he can be an asset in the 4-3 at DT as well run run stopping freeing up pass rushers to do their things as well.
4th - Michaels - RB - Dude looks amazing on film and on the field. His only problem i see is some injury's. If he can put those behind him he could be one of the most talented Rb's in this entire class. Alt Choice - Franklin RB. _________________

Not a fan. Can't see the Giants passing on Johnson for Te'o. Johnson in the 1st and Arthur Brown in the 2nd would make a lot more sense and would have me doing my first ever rendition of the Dougie. _________________ 44 and 21 Once a Giant, always a Giant

Richardson in the 1st because CB isn't that high of a need. I like the 2nd and 3rd round picks. _________________

I don't like the first round pick, Jones is versatile, but not BPA, Banks or Hankins would be much better. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews

I'd like a back with a little more speed than Lacy, but the rest is outstanding. _________________ 2013 Draft Needs: RB, Safety. Maybe RT and backup LBs |

| Not a very appealing cowboys draft. OL is there biggest need and it not even addressed. Dallas has several SS what they need is a FS and what good is a QB in the 3rd when the line is in shambles. Prefer Cooper or Vaccaro in the first. Plus SD would be a fool to take a guard at 11 since they need WR and defensive help more |

I think Lacy is a good back, but doesnt have elite speed. I really think Andre Ellington in the 3rd would be amazing _________________

CHIEFS: I understand the need for a QB w/#1 pick. I really do. Being a die hard Chiefs fan, am just as frustrated as the next fan. This team has not drafted a QB w/1st round pick since 83 and that was big failure. Would love to see this team draft a franchise QB, esp. w/#1 pick.
However, IMO, I don't see one that is #1 worthy. I am not so frustrated that I want the Chiefs to take QB just because there is one there. If this team can trade down and get say a Smith(still not a big fan), Wilson(perfer over Smith) or even a Barkley(late 1st round for me), then maybe so. If not, then, again IMO, BPA.
BTW love the 2nd and 3rd round picks. Hope both last that long. |
