solid KC draft.only thing I might suggest is Ewddick over Gooden cause ILB is more of a need as opposed to OLB _________________

Gooden would play as a ILB in a 3-4. _________________

| Quote: | Arizona Cardinals
1 *Luke Joeckel OT Texas A&M
2 Matt Barkley QB Southern California
3 *Travis Frederick G/C Wisconsin
4 Montee Ball RB Wisconsin
5 Vance McDonald TE Rice
6 Quanterus Smith DE/OLB Western Kentucky
7 Bruce Taylor ILB Virginia Tech |
Great first round. Would rather have Warford in the second round and then a QB in the 3rd considering who's on the board. Love the Montee Ball pick. Vance is an ok pick. I think we will take a TE but I just don't think it'll be him. Smith is a sleeper, I like him. Don't know much about Taylor. _________________

I think he's too small to play 5-technique, and I'm not sure if I could see him playing rush linebacker either. To me he seems pegged into the 4-3 front. Also, I would hope to see running back addressed earlier, but I think it's possible we won't take one until the mid-rounds, as TT generally doesn't take running backs very high. Overall decent job. |
I don't think he's too small to play five technique - I think it's his natural position in the NFL. |
By god if the Packers don't want Ansah you just make them happy and move him to the Falcons MY GOD WOULD WE LOVE TO HAVE HIM _________________

Kansas City Chiefs
1 Geno Smith QB West Virginia
Meh.
2 Desmond Trufant CB Washington
Would love Trufant with our 2nd pick.
3 Phillip Thomas FS Fresno State
Love me some Phillip Thomas.
4 Zaviar Gooden OLB Missouri
5 Tavarres King WR Georgia
6 Everett Dawkins DT Florida State
7 Chris Gragg TE Arkansas
The rest I am unsure of at this point. Fills needs though. _________________

Very good draft for the Steelers. I like it. I do like Williams more than Hankins but I still wouldn't have a problem with that pick. The only thing I would change is I prefer McDonald over Williams at safety or even Rambo if he has shown his off the field problems are past him. _________________

Yeah was torn between Hankins and Williams. Williams has a lower ceiling, which is why I went with Hankins - but I can see the appeal of Jesse in that scheme. _________________

I'm not a huge fan of Werner (rather have Joeckel) but love Jones, Reid, Wing and Graham. In the 5th give the Lions Lester since Safety is a bigger need than CB. Overall though I would be pretty happy with this draft, even with Werner. _________________

Minnesota Vikings
1 *Cordarrelle Patterson WR Tennessee >>>> Good pick
2 Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina >>>> Solid pick, seems like BPA and fills a need at one tech.
3 *Stedman Bailey WR West Virginia >>>> Awful pick. Change to CB B.W. Webb
4 Shawn Williams SS Georgia >>>> I dont like Williams for the Vikings defense. Change to OLB Gerald Hodges
4 Keith Pough OLB Howard >>>> Pough is a good pick, but I would prefer Hodges earlier in the draft. Therefore, change pick to OG Hugh Thornton
5 Brandon McGee CB Miami (Fla.) >>>> With the selection of Webb, change pick to S Shamarko Thomas
6 Zac Dysert QB Miami (Ohio) >>>>
6 Omoregie Uzzi OG Georgia Tech
7 Rod Sweeting CB Georgia Tech
I dont believe the Vikes have a 6th rd pick. I think the Vikes traded both 6th rd picks for AJ Jefferson and a 7th rd pick. _________________
