|
|
|
So i noticed that when i do a mock i normally just look at the Raiders, and im sure many of us do since we are Raiders fans. I realized some players we think we can get may be gone if the team ahead of us needs the same player. So altho it is a mock of sorts, its just the first three round and nothing else like pending free agency or trade is taken into consideration(at least for the most part, kinda predicted bush to detroit so i didnt take a RB in the 2nd).
So with all that im trying to see if im on the right track with each team needs.
KC- 1. Geno Smith QB 2. Tavon Austin WR 3. Will Davis CB
-Get a QB-WR combo that is comfortable with each other. They go the Indy way with QB-Pass Catcher instead of MIA with OT-QB. Get a CB to replace routt.
Jax- 1. Damontre Moore DE 2. Keenan Allen WR 3. Chase Thomas LB
-Adding pieces to a defense that needs to get a better pass rush. I think they are giving their QB another year and another wide reciever to increase the talent on offense.
Oak- 1. Star Lotulelei DT 3. Leon McFadden CB
-Defense being are biggest need and we take the positions most needed.
Phil- 1. Luke Joeckel OT 2. Jessie Williams NT 3. Kenjon Barner RB
-Building up the trenches and then adds a RB the coach is familiar with knows can play his system. Need a back up RB that wont fumble as much as Brown.
Det- 1. Ezekiel Ansah DE 2. Corey Lemonier DE 3. Joseph Randle RB
-Heard the coaching staff really liked Ansah at the senior bowl so i gave him the edge here. They finish up their DL and add a RB.
Clev- 1. Bjoern Werner DE 3. Jordan Pyor 3. Baccari Rambo S
-Focus on the D here, cuz even if the new regiem doesnt like weeden, theres not much to replace him.
AZ- 1. Eric Fisher OT 2. Tyler Wilson QB 3. S Bailey WR
-Line help and the possible their new starting QB.
Buf- 1. Jarvis Jones OLB 2. Ryan Nassib QB 3. M Whenton WR
-Try to get the pass rush they expected last year. Draft a QB the coach knows and trust.
NYJ- 1. Dion Jordan DE 2. Terrence Williams WR 3. Kenny Stills WR
-Their coach is still Rex who is defense first. Then add some weapons for sanchez.
Tenn- 1. DeMrcus Milliner CB 2. DeAndre Hopkins WR 3. Travis Frederick OL
- BPA and adding a weapo for their QB.
SD- 1. Lane Johnson OT 2. Xavier Rhodes CB 3. Stepfon Taylor RB
-Take the best OT left and finding a complement for Mathews. Adding a Cb with their starters free agents.
Mia- 1. Kenny Vaccaro S 2. Sam Montgomery DE 2.Dallas Thomas OT/G 3. Jordan Poyer CB
- Fixing the defense through the draft and hoping the offense continues to improve.
TB- 1. Johnthan Banks CB 2. Tyler Eifert TE 3. Jawan Jamison RB
-A Cb to replace Talib and then adding a couple more weapons on offense.
Car- 1. Sheldon Richardson DT 2. DJ Fluker OT
-Build the trenches and hopefully pick up a free agent wr.
No- 1. Barkevious Mingo DE 3. Philip Thomas S
-With peyton back he has confidence in the offense so they try to fix the D.
Stl- 1. Chance Warmack OG 1. Barrett Jones 2. Zach Ertz TE 3. Quinton Patton WR
-I think itd be a good idea to draft 2/5 of your line for the next ten years. And of course they need weapons for Bradford.
Pit- 1. Alex Okafor DE/OLB 2. Larry Warford OG 3. Marquess Wilson WR
-Add some youth to the D then adds another linemen which they showed you can never have too many of.
Dal- 1. Shariff Floyd DT 2. Matt Barkley QB 3. Kiko Alonso LB
-Probably heat for Matt but they may need to draft the QB of the future if hes there.
Nyg- 1. Alec Ogletree MLB 2. Kawan Short DT 3. Monte Ball RB
-Drafting what they realeased pretty much.
Chi- 1. Johnathan Cooper G/T 2. Cobi Hamilton WR 3. David Queensberry OT
-Getting the protection for cutler may get them to the playoffs.
Cin- 1. Manti Te’o 2. Robert Woods WR 2. Logan Ryan CB 3. Le’veon Bell
RB
-Fix some spots on D but take woods realizing Offense wins championships now.
Was- 2. Eric Reid S 3. Brandon Jenkins DE
-RG3 has the offense running so the fix the biggest problem they had last year, their defense.
Min- 1. Corddarrell Patterson WR 2. David Amerson CB 3. Mike Glennon QB
-Get a reciever opposite Harvin and someone to play opposite Winfield. Glennon can compete with Ponder and at least puch him to be better.
Ind- 1. Joohnathan Hankins NT 3. Khaseem Greene LB
-Offfense last draft defense this draft.
Sea- 1. Beenie Logan DT 2. Da’Rick Rodgers WR 3. Jordan Reed TE
-Adding some more offensive weapons for a great young QB.
GB- 1. Eddie Lacy RB 2.Datone Jones DE 3. Arthur Jones LB
-Not gunna pay big money for a free agent rb so they draft a pretty RB here.
Hou-1.Kevin Minter ILB 2. Sylvester Williams DT 3. Aaron Dobson WR
-Injuries to the defense may have cost them a trip to the superbowl. Add some depth to not let that mistake happen again.
Den- 1. John Jenkins DT 2. TJ Mcdonald S 3. Andre Ellington RB
-I think their corners will be fine for another year.
Ne- 1. Matt Elam S 2.Kawame Geathers DT 3. Tyler Bray QB
-Always need to fix the secondary. Draft another QB to build up.
Atl- 1. Giovoni Bernard RB 2. Margus Hunt DE 3. Terry Hawthorne CB
-Turner is getting closer to being done and they get his replacement.
Sf- 1. Desmond Trufant CB 2. Ryan Swope WR 3. Jordan Hill DT 3. John
Simon DE
-Kinda added cuts to this one if they cut Manningham.
Bal- 1. Justin Hunter WR 2. Keven Reddick MLB 3. Tyrann Matheiu CB
-Have a replacement for Boldin? And they can reach for players since they won the superbowl.
This is my line of thinking. But who know i can be way off. Let me know what you think of all this if you want, weather you like it or think im crazy, can only get better. |

I'd rather have Jamar Taylor or Desmond Trufant in the third round. _________________

I'd be happy with Star or Joeckel at no.1 (Geno if they both gone) |

Here is a very realistic scenrio.
KC trades for Alex Smith leaving them to take Jockel.
JAX takes there pick of defensive players.. Star, Jones, Moore, Werner, Mingo.
At this point we have trade options for Geno Smith and possibly Eric Fisher w/ CLE, AZ, BUF, SD(Fisher).
My projected trade partner though will be MIA they want a stud at DE, with possibly Jones, Moore, Mingo. Werner, Star whoever JAX doesnt take still on the board MIA gives us a 2nd and a 5th to trade up and get there pick of the litter.
Oak at #11 select Ezekiel Ansah, DE
2nd, Dallas Thomas, OT
3rd, Brandon Williams DT _________________ Homey don't play that! |

Dolphins already have Cameron Wake who is coming off a 15 sack season. Why would they trade up for a DE? |

They are not going to trade up for a LDE or a DT. Not realistic IMO. |

Where is the evidence to support it? They have Cam Wake who is among the most feared pass rushers in the game already. _________________

raidr4life is right, outside of Wake they have nobody to take the pressure off. they definitley want another pass rusher. Now, whether or not they trade up for one is a different story, but a possibility. Wake is over 30 right? They have to start looking to the future. Look at the Giants, did Strahan/Osi stop them from drafting Kiwanuka? did Osi/Tuck stop them from drafting JPP?
Sure they have Odrick and Misi, who are good run stuffers, but offer very little in terms of pass rush. _________________ R A I D E R S | 7 6 E R S |
