The Vikings finished the 2011 season with a 3-13 record under Frazier but improved to 10-6 in 2012. The Vikings ended the season with a loss to the Packers during the wildcard round, however they lost starting QB Christan Ponder prior to the game to injury.

We saw how that went with Brad Childress. Hopefully this works out well for us.

I wonder how much rope he has though. If they go 5-11 or 6-10 next year is he still around?

A few smart moves in 2013 and the Vikings could be contending again.

This is a good move for MN, I like the direction the Vikings are headed in.

I like it too. I would be afraid if the Vikings ever get an offensive coach who is a great QB developer, but as it stands I am not too afraid of Leslie and his staff.

Well I asked a legitimate question relative to football and all that you have done is derail the thread with sarcasm and pictures without posting anything helpful. Please make sure your future posts are about football, thank you!

This thread title needs to change. Its wrong.

Frazier did not get an extension, he simply had an option in his contract that was exercised through 2014. So its essentially a two year deal.

This is probably more ideal for the Vikings to see where they are at in two years. (or one year).
