Jammer never achieved the ceiling people thought he had coming out of school as a top 5 pick, but he's been a pretty steady player for a decade.
He's a good example IMO of how a guy's draft status affects people's perceptions of him. |

I think 13 pretty much locks up Patterson to the Jets at some point.
With a good coach and QB, Patterson and Hill could be a very intriguing duo. But, i expect both to bust in that situation. CP will be my boy, but the bust talk will come early with the 'sanchize' throwing to him. _________________ A sunny disposition is worth more than fortune. If he actually is a bust, will he still be your boy? _________________

With the jets, you better believe that would be why. _________________ A sunny disposition is worth more than fortune. Young people should know that it can be cultivated; that the mind like the body can be moved from the shade into sunshine. Thine own reproach alone do fear |

Mark Sanchez will not be throwing the ball for the Jets unless there is an injury to their starter. _________________ Adopt-a-Patriot '14: Danny Amendola Status: Allegedly Deflating Balls On The Sideline |

Rumors in the Browns forum that Jabaal Sheard is getting traded.
Would it be lunacy (apt for our new Irrelevant thread) to suggest a Mallett and a 3rd for Sheard and Phil Taylor? _________________ Adopt-a-Patriot '14: Danny Amendola Status: Allegedly Deflating Balls On The Sideline |

I cant see us getting both. Taylor is worth more than Mallett imo. I could see lombardi trading Sheard for Mallett. _________________

I don't think Mallett and #91 is enough for just Taylor, let alone both.
Each of those guys is worth a high #2 individually IMO and the Browns have no reason to trade Taylor unless they get great value. Sheard they have more motivation to move but young pass rushers are very valuable. If they decide to move either guy, I would have to think they could do much better than a late 3 and Mallett. |

There were rumors of Taylor for a third and/or Mallet after they signed Bryant. It would be a decent deal. Sheard as well is optimistic enough to be a lil bit crazy.
I don't see either happening, D-line depth is important. It would be a bad move by the Browns if it happens. _________________ Adopt-a-Pat

If Bardi thinks Mallet is his QB of the future it'd be a great deal. Perception! Its like incepception, but it wouldnt be a good movie. _________________

If Freeney and Abraham want to play next year, they need to lower their price to 3 mil or so |
