I can definitely attest to the part in bold. I was born with spinabifida and just had my spine fused on January 21st and since then the pain has been utter hell. I've been dealing with muscle spasms that start in my back and shoot to my thighs for the last year and a half, and I thought that was bad haha. Since the surgery I've learned first hand just how devastating spinal cord injuries can feel. I don't exactly remember if the Knox injury was a spinal cord injury, but if it was I can at least somewhat understand how that must feel.
Best of luck Johnny, you played for a division rival but were always pretty fun to watch. _________________

Fear of re-injuring is a real thing. Years ago, I messed up my left leg in a freak break dancing incident... I never recovered mentally from it and I no longer "own" the dance floor at weddings and bar mitzvahs. |

To bad to see that Knox has to go out like this. Shame too because the guy is such a good talent. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

That was horrible. I hope nothing but the best to him.
If I was him I would never come close to a football field, the fact that he tried to comeback is admirable. _________________

From an article on NFL.com
| Quote: | | Knox has pushed himself in rehabilitation, but he walks with a limp and can't stand comfortably. The only time he's not in pain is when lying down. But he's grateful to have a relatively normal life. |
Just tragic. Wish him the best in his future and praying he faces no complications. _________________

I'm so glad nobody posted the .gif of the injury in this topic. Easily one of the worst things I have ever seen in my life. _________________
