Rize, that's not how it works. Robinson has just 3 million guaranteed left. cutting Robinson saves $6 million and Turner saves $6.9 million. _________________

That makes cutting turner a must and Dunta is a restructure _________________

Oh ok If Atlanta was to cut Robinson and Turner then that would put us 12.9 million under the cap I see now thanks Scar I threw robinson in there because the NFL Network said we could cut Robinson and resign Grimes _________________ The Most Interesting Man In The World Once Said " I don't always play Clemson but when I do I use my second string quarterback!" |

Which is exactly what we should do unless Robinson restructures a bit to allow us to get grimes and keep him. Which i don't see him doing. _________________

Is this what you guys are talking about?

| Quote: | There is a lot of speculation floating out there about the future of cornerback Dunta Robinson with the Atlanta Falcons.
Robinson
That situation should become clear soon enough. If the Falcons are going to part ways with Robinson, they need to do it before the fifth day of the league year. If Robinson still is on the roster that day, $3 million of his $8 million base salary becomes fully guaranteed.
Robinson currently is scheduled to count $9 million against the 2013 salary cap. But the Falcons could free up $6 million in cap space if they waive him before a portion of his base salary becomes guaranteed.
But it’s not a certainty the Falcons will part ways with Robinson. They may need him if they’re unable to re-sign Brent Grimes, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent. Aside from Grimes and Robinson, the only impact players the Falcons have at cornerback are an aging Asante Samuel and backup Robert McClain. |

| Falcons will not have much cap to work with . We will bring back Baker and Willy Mo and have room for Tony G if he decides one more year but outside that don't expect much . Dunta and Turner both will be cut but we will have to find players to fit those holes . Grimes coming back in replace of Dunta is a good possibility . Plus also have to deal with a Ryan ext . |

Reports are that a Ryan extension will make more cap room available. But I def don't expect a major splash in Free Agency. But never rule out a trade either befroe the draft or after. TD is good for doing things like that. _________________

If we release Abraham, Turner, and Robinson and extend Ryan then I think it put us around 20 million under the cap now that is a guess and clearly speculation but if i am not mistaken we could do major things with that cap space! _________________ The Most Interesting Man In The World Once Said " I don't always play Clemson but when I do I use my second string quarterback!" |
