If i'm Idzik, I give him a ultimatum. Either re-structure and compete for the starting job or don't restructure and you'll ride the bench all year, and we'll cut you at the end of the year. If Sanchez chooses option 2, he'll never start again in the NFL.

Bottom line is he will be the starter this year. We NEED to get him weapons and make him comfortable again. Sign Braylon again. He aint going to demand anything but a 1 yr, vet minimum. Have guys come in that Sanchez has chemistry with, which is very important. Honestly if we drafted a receiver in the 3rd or 4th rd, and we bring back Edwards and Cotch or Avant(not sure if either is avalaible), I think this could be enough. Keller and Cumberland need to come back also.

This is pretty solid and Sanchez will be comfortable with this group. Lets get a great LG, resign Moore, and bring in a solid RT, and we are talking on offense. Our defense, I think has potential to be a top 5 defense. We can def make the playoffs.

I think Mark will be our starter next year as well. I don't think anyone will question that Idzik was brought in to rebuild and get the cap under control. With the QB class being on the weaker side this draft it is probably time to address other positions. Heck! Mark was either hurried or on his back, with no one to throw to anyways. Is Mark a starting QB in the NFL? No IMO but you can't question his competitive spirit or work ethic.
I'm hoping we concentrate on our "O" line and RB problems this year.

unlike other players on this team that we can restructure Sanchez is not one of them not when his whole deal is fully guaranteed

the best thing we can do with him is let him play out this year whether he starts or not is irrelevant and if he doesnt step up and become a better QB(which we all can safely predict is probably not going to happen and this is even if he wins the job out of camp which is isnt likely) and then cut him after this year and get him completely off our books going into 2014 restructuring for him is not an option we should use cause he would hurt future cap hits when we simply want him gone in all likelihood

if would have shown any kind of improvement to be at worst a decent competitive QB last year without a doubt restructuring would be an option cause wed want him here for the foreseeable future
