I'll set the over under for 1 & half games before Vick leaves with a serious injury (if he is the QB). _________________

As a one year deal I'm fine with it....we are still a couple years away grime competing. Use all of our resources elsewhere....and look QB next year or maybe get the guy of the future this draft if they think he's there later in the draft.
I wonder if we trade Foles to Andy _________________

I haven't seen any of the PC yet, but just in case anyone hadn't heard/seen this yet:
http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/2107/michael-vick
| Quote: | | Eagles coach Chip Kelly made it clear on Monday that Michael Vick will have to compete to retain his starting job for 2013. |
| Quote: | | Despite speculation otherwise by one Philly radio host, Kelly also confirmed that Vick's contract was not restructured to make him more trade-able. He's being brought back as a competitor to start. | | Quote: | | Kelly hinted, though not adamantly, that Nick Foles will return as Vick's primary competition. "There’s an open competition," Kelly said. "Nick knew every step of the way what we were doing." Look for the Eagles to add Dennis Dixon to the roster soon, as well |

I have zero faith in the first statement. You don't give a guy 10 million to come in and compete for a job. You also don't pay a guy 10 million to be a backup. This isn't college, you don't have 105 guys on the roster. _________________

It's a lot of incentives. He won't make anywhere near $10 million if he's sitting on the bench. |

Seriously doubt if he is not traded Vick makes 10 million as a Starter unless he far exceeds even BIBB expectations. Guarantee as I posted before the incentives are crazy like reaching the SB, Playoffs/W, playing all 16 gms, Pass yds, passing TD, limited TO, ect, ect,! Some of you need to relax on the numbers. Rarely have I seen Howie make any deal the past two seasons that didn't in some way shape or form favor the eagles in the end. This will be no different IMO. _________________

Agreed Nabbsy....basically if Vick makes $10 mil we probably will be fine with it. Going off prior knowledge _________________

Yeah most contracts do end up favoring the Eagles in one way or another. I see Blick and BBIB are happy and Numbers expressing his sentiments about Vick and Kelly well. _________________

Yeah Vick's deal is not 1-year/$10M. he gets that only if he reaches certain goals, which are probably unreachable with his level of play. _________________
