Maybe I'll start to criticise Chip if he chooses Vick as his starter and we lose our first five games but c'mon... he's just trying to be as conservative as possible. I'm not a Vick fan but you can't blame him for keeping him on a year so he can base his own assessments on him. Who's to say he even makes it off the practice field at this point?

I hope Chip Kelly slips on his way to the podium, hits his head, realizes how stupid it was to give Vick another contract and cut him immediatley. That is the only good that can come from this presser...

It's a smoke screen to draw all the attention away from the hirings that didn't live up to everyones expectations.
