Surprising. Kind of glad he won't be a Jet. _________________

Does this mean BBIB will stay away from the Jags forum?

I am wondering how the Eagles can "re-sign" Vick considering he was under contract through 2016? Did they essentially cut Vick and "re-sign" him to an incentive laden deal right after cutting him? Wouldn't the NFLPA frown on this deal as Vick left alot of money on the table considering his $15,500,000 million dollar base salary in 2013? _________________

Just a big waste of money. This guy is a bum. You know what you're going to get out of Michael Vick. Injuries and turnovers. You know he's never going to win a Super Bowl. Just move on and find someone else capable. And isnt this a re structure not a re sign? _________________

no he had a contract that allowed us to just cut him if we wanted no penalty. so instead of just cutting him vick made this deal. pretty much just signing a pay cut. _________________

I think the reports were phrased poorly -- it was a contract renegotiation. |

Bleh... Yeah, he's the perfect fit for Chip's offense, until he gets hit. This will look like a good move until the 2nd quarter of week 1.
There weren't many QBs to choose from this offseason so I guess, on paper, he gives the Eagles the best chance to win. I just wish we would have gotten rid of him though. $10 mil? Philly is still getting robbed. |

For me, it really depends on exactly what incentives he has to reach. If it takes him a trip to the Pro Bowl to get above $6 million and Super Bowl to get to $10 million, I'm fine with it. |

| As a Jets fan, I hope kelly pushes to trade foles and draft EJ Manuel. I would love to have Foles for a mid-round pick. |

Yeah, I don't know the specifics and that'll make me feel slightly better but it just comes back to the fact that we're not winning with any QB currently on the roster. I'm not high on Foles but I at least wanted to see what he had. We all know who Vick is. He's a past-his-prime, injury prone QB with a low football IQ. I honest to god would rather have Vince Young or Tim Tebow running this offense. At least we know it wouldn't take them 10 seconds to pick themselves up off the ground after each hit.
Grrr, this really irritates me. |

That's more expensive than I wanted to see. So $7 million if he rides the bench. |
