Reggie McKenzie said he would have drafted Taiwan as a CB when he was in GB.

Sounds good to me. Fast, can catch and is a good tackler than takes good angles. From what Jones said last season he is open to it as well.

Not sure how I'd feel about this. He has abilities as a runner, no doubt. But the fumbling is a big problem. Its also one that can be fixed so I kind of wish he got a chance to fix it with a good coach. I'll take what we can get out of him at this point though

Whatever will put another quality DB on the field. He has some skill at the position and he will probably be able to stay healthier on defense.

6' 200 and can run. If he can develop the ball skills, he has a chance to be a solid nickel.

He was recruited as a CB, so that bodes well. He's played the spot, so it's not going to be completely new to him.

Found this little nugget. All I can find though. No videos or other important references.

"It's easy to forget that Taiwan Jones made 15 tackles in a game as a freshman cornerback at Eastern Washington."

I like him at RB. I'm not ready to write him off after a season of playing for Knapp. His speed, and agility is rare IMO.

Meh he'll probably get hurt either way. Why not?

He didn't perform under Jackson. He has ball control issues and is frail for a RB.

He was just a rookie though. He does need to work on holding onto the ball better, but I think he could succeed if given a chance.

So do I. But he keeps getting wrecked as a RB. He looks like he has a nose for the ball and the ability to tackle. Dude looked like a heatseeker as a gunner and he's stupid fast. I'd like to see what he's got at CB too.

Changing from ball carrier to defensive back at the pro level is usually the first stop on the road to Canton.

I mean, might as well try but at this point, he's no lock to make the survive the first phase of cuts.

To be fair sounds like he already did if they are going to try him at another spot.

Also I think they will keep him either way as their ST guy. Probably the best ST player we had last season.
