Baseballs back pitchers and catchers return today. Time for another Fantasy Baseball season. Let the sign ups begin. For now i have the draft set for March 24th at 10:30pm which is a Sunday night. If the majority needs or wants it changed then just post your ideas and we'll discuss it. I also added 2 categories to hitting and pitching and if anyone has an idea about the roster size like how many UTIL players and how many pitchers let me know and i also changed the minimum innings pitched floor from 7 to 15. So if anyone has ideas or changes or what have you just post them but lets sign up and have fun
Categories for Fantasy Baseball
Hitting: Runs, Homeruns, RBI, SB, Average, OBP
Pitching: Wins, Saves, Holds, Ks, ERA, WHIP

time to avenge my 2nd place finish.
put a number of moves per week limit on it this week.. that really spoiled the fun at the end... all we did was pick up and drop players to win the counting stats categories. |

also remove either hits or average... these categories are redundant... if you need another offensive category add slugging.
a suggestion for the max acquisitions per week i would say 5 or 6 is reasonable.
sorry to tell be so blunt about these changes but as a long time fantasy baseball player... the roster acquisitions thing really spoils a league...and it ruined it in the playoffs last year. |

just read your initial post... above were my thoughts looking at the league settings...furthermore...
you could add one more P spot as well as one more UTIL spot ---also 2 more bench spots
baseball as a sport is pretty deep and in a 12 team league we would not come close to exhausting the talent pool.
finally id also like to suggest you add holds to pitchers just because it adds a whole other level of value to players who in real baseball play integral roles to winning games-- middle relief.. |

Im down for anything ill wait till more players sign up then quote your posts or something so more people can vote on it but if no one cares and doesnt say anything ill just switch it to how you suggested

Can you post what you're currently thinking of as the categories? Not sure if you have plans in mind that are not yet configured in Yahoo.

right now this is what i have
Hitting: Runs, Hits, Homeruns, RBI, Stolen Bases, Walks, Average
