Not a fan of the Vikes pick. We have enough slot receivers..need someone bigger for on the outside.
LB Ogletree or DT Short or even DB Banks would all be better options _________________ AD is hotter than Madonna in a pointy bra!!! |

Dwayne Bowe for the Bengals is a dream, but as for the draft, Ogletree projects to OLB better than Teo in our system. _________________

I dont think i could see us picking up Long, but if it does happen, give us Mingo (who you left off this mock for whatever reason). Our pass rush is more important than our coverage problems. _________________

Jones has a lot of question marks for a top 5 pick.
- People question his work ethic
- Medical concerns
- Lacks talent needed to be dominant in the NFL.
rather pass on him top 5 _________________

Agreed. We need someone who can cover a RB or TE _________________

| I highly doubt the Vikings would pass on a linebacker like Ogletree for a Percy Harvin clone, something we don't need. |

Awful pick for the vikings. even if Harvin is traded, the vikes have Jarius Wright to play the slot position.
Give the Vikings Ogletree or Terrance Williams.
The Vikings need perimeter receivers. _________________

You can add Hopkins to that list, too.
Just a really, really bad pick for the Vikings. Austin is just way too similar to Percy Harvin. They're both ultra athletic, elusive slot receivers who are skilled enough at the position to have elite production catching down field - which is what Minnesota needs with Peterson in the backfield.
Even if Minnesota does end up moving Harvin, it's still a poor pick because we still have Wright at the slot receiver spot. |
