We've been looking at offseason moves to heelp our defense. Harper's replacement (after he's traded to Tennessee for a third/fourth) isn't a FA or a draft pick. He's already on the team.
Corey White is the heir to the SS starting spot. He possesses the physical tools and toughness needed to play. He has coverage ability with a strong point of attack.
I'd like to see us bring in Cary Williams as Robinson's PIC.
Greer will probably be released which will free up cap space. Remember, it's better to release or trade a guy a year too early than too late.
IAQ will have a bigger role or he can even replace Malcolm Suckins. Raphael Bush will back up White. Perhaps we can draft day trade Jenkins.
According to Walterfootball, we will take Dion Jordan in the first and NT Brandon Williams in the 3rd. Sounds good, huh?
However, switching to a 3-4 will require D line and LB attention. Even beyond our starting front 7, we need depth at an affordable cost. Anthony Spencer is a no no. |
