Philadelphia Eagles Off-Season Prediction Contest - 2013

Welcome to the battle for Eagles’ front office knowledge supremacy! In this contest, everyone will make the decisions based on what they believe the Eagles’ front office will attempt and accomplish. Below are scenarios that everyone will choose what they predict will happen. After-wards, the poster who correctly chooses the most scenarios wins a special prize!

In continuation of what Steegles46 ran for years we are starting the 2013 version of the MKEP (Most Knowledgeable Eagles Poster) contest. This contest is for Eagles Poster only. Below will be a questionnaire that is to be answered/submitted 1 Time and 1 Time only!!! A Deadline of February 24th has been set. All entries must be submitted by 10pm (EST)on that date. No entries will be allowed for any reasons after that date. You do not have to wait for that date to make your entries and are encouraged to Send your Entries to me Via PM only at any time!! As entries are received I will post that contestants name within a few days in the Reserved Post below. After the Deadline has past I will make a post listing all Contestants Answers so that the constant question of who or what did I pick will be available for all to see for the next 6 months or so. Below I will be making a easier form for your answers to be submitted. Please use that Form when sending me a PM. Just copy and paste, fill in your answers and PM your results. Please do not send the Questionnaire itself, just the answer form. Thanks and Good Luck

NOTE: My wife will take part in this contest. Therefore, as an extra risk, if anyone loses to her this year they will have to wear another "special" sig for the first 8 games of the season!!! Understand My Wife has absolutely no clue what so ever about anything Eagles Related. So like with Steegles46's Wife finishing in "last place" will have consequences, you've been warned. Wink

Note: Despite the change in format any question involving what the Eagles will do on their 1st day refers to Rd's 1 and Rd's 2 ONLY regardless if one round is Friday night and the other Saturday morning. Draft Part III questions #9 and #10

Part I – Eagles Free Agents

For the following players choose one of the three responses:
(a) The Eagles will attempt to re-sign, and succeed. (Franshice tag included)
(b) The Eagles will attempt to re-sign, and fail.
(c) The Eagles will not attempt to re-sign.
NOTE: Players re-signed are not required to make the squad to count as a resignee.

Part II – Free Agent Market

For the following statements, answer either Yes or No. In saying free agents, the questions refer to players who are not undrafted free agents (UDFAs) and were not on the Eagles’ roster this past season. They do not have to make the team to count as a signee. Players signed prior to the date the entry is received do not count.

7. The Eagles will sign a free agent to a contract four years or longer........Yes / No
8. The Eagles will sign a free agent to a contract worth $4 million per year or more (including signing bonus)........ Yes / No
9. The Eagles will sign at least one Veteran free agent player on Defense (Minimum 3 yrs NFL exp.)................ Yes / No
10. The Eagles will sign at least one Veteran free agent player on Offense (Minimum 3 yrs NFL exp.)................ Yes / No

Part III – The Draft

For the following statements, answer either Yes or No.

1. The Eagles will make three draft day trades or more. [Yes / No]
2. The Eagles will make at least one trade to give them at least one extra pick in next year’s draft. [Yes / No]
3. The Eagles will trade out of their spot (either up or down) in the first round on draft day. [Yes / No]
4. The Eagles will trade out of their spot (either up or down) in the second round on draft day. [Yes /No]
5. The Eagles will draft a lineman in the first round. [Yes / No]
6. The Eagles will draft a LB in the first round. [Yes / No]
7. The Eagles will draft a offensive player in the first round. [Yes / No]
8. The Eagles will draft a defensive player in the first round. [Yes / No]
9. The Eagles will draft at least one defensive back (corner or safety) during the first day (Rd 1 or 2). [Yes / No]
10. The Eagles will draft at least one QB during the Second day in either (Rd 3 or 4). [Yes / No]
11. The Eagles will trade away a player on their roster during the draft. [Yes / No]

Part IV – Roster Cuts/ Trade

For the following players, choose either Yes (they will be cut/traded) or No (they will not be cut/traded). Player retirements count as a no answer.

This seems pointless this year, the winner will just be randomly guessing. No one knows what the hell will happen with a new regime.
