I'm all for trading down and to get Jones would be terrific. _________________

Awful pick for the Vikings. It is different, I will give you that. However, the Vikings 4th DE played a total of one game last year. Montgomery would essentially never see the field behind Allen, Griffen and Robison.
Now, the Vikings do have a need for a DE, all three of those players are free agents in 2014 and Allen/Robison are over 30. However, DE is a mid round draft need and that is usually where the Vikings look to draft DEs (round 4 picks include: Edwards, Robison, Griffen).
There is no argument in taking a DE over a WR, LB, DT or S that would be valid. _________________

Ansah is a 4-3 LDE. Our defense will not have such a position. _________________

I can see the Bengals reaching for lattimore, just not in the 1st round where they will likely go bpa, which would be star lotulelei |

I can, especially when it's Banks at 6. Awful.
He's not even on my list of top 10 players I would want the Browns to consider, and #1 and #2 are still on the board (Star and Warmack).
Bypassing elite talents for average players at a quote/unquote need position is not smart. Banks isn't even the best corner in this draft, nor is he the second best corner (Milliner and Rhodes are 1-2).
Bad pick is bad. |

Absolutely awful draft for the Rams. There is no way we trade up to take anybody, let alone a raw player at a position we don't need (Saffold has played well, overall) and we have zero need for a CB in the first round.
Guard, safety, right tackle, wide receiver and outside linebacker are our biggest needs. _________________ I watched the Rams at Wembley and stayed until the bitter end. |

Bad pick is bad. | Banks is the best CB. General rankings say you're right, but the general rankings aren't always (actually typically never) right. _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

OMG, i would instantly fire our new GM and quit being a jets fan for the rest of my life. We dont need to trade up (we need to trade back) and for that matter for a QB that will probably be there in round 2 anyway.
sorry but barf. |
