No offence but this is the worst Vikings mock I have seen. Give us Floyd and Hopkins instead. _________________

| Terrible trade for the Packers with Sharrif Floyd still on the board. We really don't need another 4th round pick. Edit: So we trade back 14 spots to get a 4th rounder and then we use that 4th rounder to move up 4 spots??? How does that make any sense at all? |

I wouldn't see the reason for the Lions to trade down with Tampa Bay and take possibly the 3rd best CB, instead of nabbing Dee at #5.
Unless the value and picks in return are great, I don't see a point. _________________

We're not giving up our 2nd to move up just four spots. Stay where we are and take Richardson and then Warford in the 2nd. _________________

Its a fairly nice mock, but a 4th to move down 6 spots. No way! We could select Cooper or Hankins there, and if we were to trade down we could still get Ansah or Richardson. 2nd round's good but his injuries worry me. We also really need D-Line if Spencer goes. All things considered this is middle of the road.
EDIT: Not to mention the fact that your team gets the same for only moving down 4 spots in the second round... _________________

Agreed. I doubt Green Bay would make such a move unless we were giving them our third though. _________________

Even the Lions would not trade pick 5 valued at 1,700 trade value for the sixteen and third totaling 1,350.
The buccaneers #13, a second and a fourth would equal about 1,680. |

Unless the value and picks in return are great, I don't see a point. | I actually like it. We trade down and grab the 2nd best CB instead of reaching for the 3rd best. I would prefer Ezekiel Ansah though. Terrance Williams would be better in the 2nd (best player available). _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

The 1st trade i like although the pick isn't all that great in Short. You should have went with either Alex Oakfer or John Jenkins. We need a DT that can also be a good 3-4 NT to help run Mike Nolans Hybrid 3-4 / 4-3 defense. Im thinking Short can't do that as the centerpiece of a 3-4 line. Where as John Jenkins can do a 4-3 DT and a 3-4 NT plus he has much better value.
The 2nd round pick in Eifert i like in general although the value we gave up to get him is a little much. I say give us a 4th round pick back in the trade and it would be pretty even.
Falcons give #50 and 3rd for #60 and 4th. That looks good to both teams. _________________

| CHIEFS: While I perfer Joeckel and Tyler Wilson, I do like your thinking on these picks for the Chiefs. |
