based on pre-media draft hype? go back and look at each players college careers.
Werner is getting inflated by the media - and I have seen little to nothing based on watching him play and examining his production. I wasnt even interested him before we hired Horton. I want nothing to do with him as a Browns fan.

Yes, Werners hype is media conspiracy and has nothing to do with terrific production back to back years, on the best team in his conference, terrific athleticism, all combined with a player just learning the game...

imo Werner compares best to Chris long, a good 4-3 LE

could you please provide an examples of this "terrific production in back to back years"?
his "terrific athleticism" will be measured at the combine, but he didnt show it in the games I watched this year.
best team in a weak conference... and he was the 3rd DE on the depth chart.
"just learning the game" doesnt sound like a ringing endorsement for a top 5 pick as you called him.
IMO, Werner is the most overhyped player in this draft

That is who the "professionals" compare him to and I agree that might be his ceiling. and as a LDE in a 43 I would expect his progress to better.
