Not a sexy hire but hey I'll trust Chip's judgement over anyone else who's saying it's a bad move. I'm pumped to see the D move to 3-4!

I can't name a single LBer on your roster off the top of my head. They can't be much of anything special. Anyways, Davis' history should be enough for me to dislike him. |

Why would you trust his judgment? Maybe if Davis never coached before as a DC, but he's had a bad track record twice. I see this crashing and burning.

cause hes Chip and cooler then your coach... it aint hard to tell..

In a strange turn of events, the Cardinals hired the Eagles former, horrible DC, Todd Bowles. And to replace him, the eagles hired the Cardinals former, horrible DC, Billy davis.

| I'm not thrilled with the choice, but at the same time, the list of available candidates wasn't great. Worst thing that can happen is that he sucks and gets fired after one season, which, since we're not going to seriously compete anyway, isn't really a big deal. |
