Hahahhhahahahahaa!!!!!

Carson Palmer's wife has just begun making funeral services arrangements.

Like Palmer will be on the roster for the Raiders. That's why they got Pryor a running QB. So Barron will be fine for the Raiders.

Pryor was already on the team when they traded for Palmer.

No surprise he'd be looking to return to the state of Florida. He probably looked to go to Tampa Bay first because he grew up in Bradenton.

No he isn't.

At least a revolving door slows people down.

He's gonna go whoever offers him the most money. Just cuz he grew up there don't mean squat to these guys nowadays , its all about making as much $$$ before they can't anymore. they can always move back when they retire.

It still has merit, Jimmy. We see it all the time. It also helps that Florida has 0% state income tax, so that's going to be a factor as well. He gets the best of both worlds.

Yup it's just one of many factors. Likely the salary difference is no more than 10 % if anything at all. I know I would move back home if our income would be within that margin.

@RapSheet: RT @ChicagoBears: LM: #Bears have agreed to terms with former Jets guard Matt Slauson on one-year contract.

I normally don't comment on random things like this, but the 0% state income tax does not have much relevance, especially when looking at a state like FL. Sure they have 0% state income tax, but they have a higher than normal property tax rate...it is all relative.

Really, how many picks are the Raiders going to throw away at veteran QB's before they decide to actually build a team? Laughing They are a lot longer away from contending then a QB..

Flynn isn't exactly that old (only 28) and I think he has some potential. They should get decent compensation in return for Palmer and so long as they didn't give up more than a 4th - I think it's a good move for them.
