Aaron Rodgers on the brink of signing a new extension. Could be interesting to see if this will affect Cowboys negotiations with Romo.

In retrospect, I hate the franchise of Anthony Spencer even more. Of course hindsight is 20/20, but there have been a lot of good DEs on the market who signed for a lot less than $10M. And, there are still several good DEs on the market right now who would all be a lot cheaper than Anthony Spencer. Granted some of the guys maybe only be a 1 or 2 year stop gap, but right now, that's all Anthony Spencer is anyway.

I agree. Would have rather brought in Michael Bennett on a four year deal

How would Dwight Freeney look in a Cowboys uniform instead of Spencer.

I wanted him as a cheaper than Spencer option for a 2 year contract, assuming he would accept that. Then we could try out Crawford, while having the safety of a proven pass rusher.

The chiefs are actively shopping Brandon Albert, the asking price is a second rounder.

What say you?

Not this year's 2nd, no.

The second round is, by all accounts, the best value in this draft.

Think I'd agree. He's also pretty dead set about wanting LT money from what I understand.

Agreed with both of these. Not for this year's 2nd and not for the money he thinks he deserves.

Patriots re-upped with Vollmer for $17M over four years. This is a steal. Should lower the asking price of Andre Smith I would assume.

Like Palmer will be on the roster for the Raiders. That's why they got Pryor a running QB. So Barron will be fine for the Raiders.
