AB has always been a favorite of mine. Ever since coming out of marshall when the movie came out. Hes a good level guy who we all watched since he was young. I can see him staying. If he talks to jacobs, BJ will tell him to take the pay cut and enjoy the giants becauae they are a class act organization. _________________

Too soon, I don't mind Canty and Boley, but I think it was way too soon for Bradshaw. I have a feeling that I am not going to like how this all ends up. Andre Brown and Wilson better had not been one hit wonders or our front office will look like retards. Also Coughlin had better get used to starting rookies.

I'm not too shocked at this. He s been an outstanding professional for us and I wish him well, but with our tandem of Wilson and Brown now (and Ahmads history of injury) it was the right thing to do.

Glad to hear he was gracious about the whole thing. I wish him luck wherever he goes.
In other news, the thunder/lightning combo is going to be pretty sick next year. _________________

My thoughts exactly. But the fact is that this was about saving money. Only reason. AB is a tough, tough player and was a leader.
However, I am excited with this uncertainty about the backfield going into 2013. Reese has already said that he sees Wilson as a 15+ carry back and Andre Brown had some flashes last season while at times looked like the better back than Bradshaw. Wilson showed a lot of speed last season too, something that the Giants have lacked for a while. _________________

I'm worried about a time when Andre Brown gets injured, and Wilson becomes our only option. And if Wilson fumbles / gets Eli killed, our next option is a cheap FA signing / late round pick. Hopefully we get a decent veteran from FA and I we don't have to see Lumpkin or Torrain get time.

Why the hate on Lumpkin, I'm confident given the opportunity he would excel past whats expected of him. _________________

Giants are going to have to bring in a veteran that they can trust on third downs and for emergencies. Because RBs come so cheap nowadays, I think the Giants will find a solid veteran backup. _________________

Exactly what I thought. Guys just weren't hungry enough to fight for wins and went out there expecting wins to come. _________________

Yea you could see it on the field. No one was playing with heart. It was like they were going through the motions. Half of them probably weren't even disappointed they didn't make the playoffs cause they wanted a full offseason. _________________

Brown and Wilson are going to make a great 1-2 punch.
Speaking of Brown, any info on how he is recovering from his broken leg? _________________

Brown is 100% healthy and ready to go. He got cleared for contact during the week of the Superbowl. _________________
