Exactly. I hope anyone the Pats draft succeeds, but I'm extremely skeptical of Davis's chances to succeed in New England. In a lot of ways, he's the opposite of the type of guy I'd expect to fit into the offense. |

Davis isn't even draftable for the Pats in NBTs opinion. id take tree Branch over him.
As a WR I think he is crap. He reminds of JerMichael Finley physically. He might do well as a receiving tight end somewhere, btu he is too stiff and slow to be a receiver.

I'd think he probably goes in the 6th or 7th. His combine and pro day performances will be key.
I could also see some team trying to turn him into a H-Back or Move TE. |

As I edited into the post, draftable for the pats* & I think only chance he has success is being used as a receiving tight end.

Davis is a projected last day pick, so I don't like him in the 2nd, especially with WR like Wheaton, Patton, Woods etc. most likely available.
