| Jacksonville and Kansas City both have the top 2 picks in the draft so they may be in the hunt for one of the QBs in the crop of this coming up draft. However they could seek a veteran as well. Arizona seems like the team in the most need of a QB with Kolb not living up to his starting job. Tennessee, Philly, Miami, are all possible destinations. Even back up duty is possible. Will he be cut or will he be traded. We know who needs him most and who has the more attractive picks. |

| The Browns look like they are pretty happy with Brandon Weeden. I think Jacksonville is a good fit because he played better than Henne! |

I think if it was up to Alex, it would be Cleveland so he can reunite wit Norv but SF would probably trade him to the highest bidder which could be KC. _________________

It depends on how different the bid is. If they both offer the same round draft pick, I'm plenty positive the 49ers are going to allow Alex to choose his destination out of respect for his professionalism while he was here in many, many aspects. _________________

He may be okay there. He started his career taking a beating and between SF and SEA, he will again 4x a season minimum.
I really think he could flourish in Philadelphia with the hurry-up. He did it a lot for Urban Meyer at Utah so he's no stranger to that type of system. And he can fly when he wants (ref. Naked bootleg against Saints). |

I really hope he ends up in KC. Makes the most sense for everyone. (Including me ) _________________

ESPN's John Clayton believes Alex Smith would make a "beeline" to the Cardinals if granted his release instead of being traded.
Clayton also expects the Browns to be the "most interested" in a potential trade. Clayton appears to be expressing more his gut feeling than an actual sourced report, but both Arizona and Cleveland figure to leave no stone left unturned in their search for a quarterback. However, the weak-armed Smith is a poor fit with new Cardinals coach Bruce Arians on paper, as Arians is among the league's most ardent believers in the deep ball.
roto.
