Time to have the prescription checked on those glasses! |
I dunno. I see the most athletic lineman I've seen in a long time. He is also dominating at the point of attack and defensive players can't seem to disengage from Fisher. His foot work is beyond special. The ONLY major knock I see on him is that he played for Central Michigan and the level of competition was subpar. However, that didn't hurt Joe Staley and Fisher held his own and then some at the Senior Bowl. _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play. Really? Eric Fisher dominated at the Senior Bowl during both the game and practices....I would be shocked if he made out of the top 10 and if he did
I would hope Ireland has enough sense to draft him. |
Topic is best player in draft. In my opinion no. _________________

Fair enough. However, Fisher is currently expected to be a top 10 pick. I don't think selecting a guy that is ranked that high as the possible best overall player in a class is a long shot.
Whatever the case, I'll put my money on him at this early stage of the game. I don't see a thing about his game that tells me he won't succeed. He has blue chip/franchise player written all over him. _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play. I'll agree with you there Merc and thats if he is the highest rated player available when we draft, I currently have him ranked 8th. _________________

I am a little late to the party but mine would be as follows
1. Star Lotulelei
2. Bjoern Werner
3. Eric Fischer If he played at a big school he would have been mentioned in the same class as luke joeckel earlier but now he is starting to be in that convo. I love his athleticsm and there is a outside shot he makes it to 12 because no matter what anybody says now a couple QB will go top 10 it happens every year after the combine the qb hype begins.
For what its worth I want no part of jarvis jones and not just because of the possible medical |

I just think Bjorn Werner is the best player in this draft. IMO he's a J.J. Watt mock 2. If he somehow makes it out of the top 10 i hope he is the pick at 12. _________________

Leon Sandcastle
In all honesty though, I think Patterson is going to be a stud WR and hope we take him. _________________

I must admit I wasn't a fan of going T at the 12th spot. Now, if Fisher does indeed fall to our pick, I wouldn't be mad taking him. _________________
