You guy need an interior pass rusher desperatley and a nickel.
Datone Jones is the best interior pass russer I have seen on the college level. He wreaks havoc. Dominating games. He's unblockable. It would be a waste of talent putting him at defensive end. I've seen where you put these hybrid 3-4 de's at defensive end in a base defense in the NFL and it does not work out. For instance Lamaar Houston for the Raiders. A dominate interior pass rusher in college getting 11 tackles and a sack in the national championship against Bama now he's playing defensive end. WHile he has the speed, he is clearly out of position. Same thing with Cameron Jordan for the Saints who was a dominant presence in the Cal Bears 3-4 defense. Jones will be there when you pick, you shuld get him.
Honey Badger, a playmaker and gamebreaker will be an excellent nickel. He can take over games and cause a turnover when you need it. I'd say 3rd round.
You guys should take a chance. |

I agree with both of the things you said, but Im not sure this deserves its own thread. _________________ Trying is the first step towards failure
