The Vikings are not going to recieve better odds as long as we don't improve our passing game. _________________

Which as where EW was getting to, we almost have a full year until the next superbowl.
At this point, all these predictions mean very little.
We still have plenty of holes to fill. I still consider this team in a rebuilding mode. _________________

This right here.
These odds are before FA & the Draft a lot can happen between now and the first day of the actual season. I see no reason why we can't win atleast 8 games next season and we should be close to that 10 game win total _________________

These odds are also solely to entice people to bet, not exactly how Vegas perceives these teams. Public perception by most people is that Detroit and Philadelphia have better talent than Minnesota, hence why they get the same odds despite having a much worse team last year. San Diego, I can't really explain. Cincinnati is that low because they've got to go through the defending champs in Baltimore, plus three teams (New England, Houston, Denver) that will be believed to be far superior teams in Vegas' mind. _________________

Before the start of the 87 baseball year, the Twins were at 250-1.
My aunt wanted to put down $10 just for fun, and my uncle talked her out of it. |
