BENGALS WAR ROOM
Hello from your friendly neighborhood owner Mike Brown. I would like to announce to all my faithful fans that I have finally decided to hire a GM. His name is johndeere1707. Not only does he have what it takes to make better football decisions than me, he also is very very handsome. DRAFT PICKS

3- RB LaMichael James, Oregon
5- WR Jordan White, Western Michigan
6- DT Vaughn Meatoga, Hawaii
TRADES
Bengals trade 6th to Seahawks for WR Deon Butler
Bengals trade 2nd, 4th, and LB Keith Rivers to Bills for 2nd and CB Leodis McKelvin
Bengals trade Patriots 5th and Bengals 7th to Seahawks for TE Anthony McCoy and Bengals 6th
Participation from everyone is key as many of us are not on here 24/7
PLAYER CUTS
QB Zac Robinson, RB James Develin, WR Brandon Tate, WR Vidal Hazelton, LB Michah Johnson, K Thomas Weber, WR Armon Binns, TE Bo Scaife, LB Dequin Evans, LB Vincent Rey, S Chris Crocker, S Jeromy Miles, RB Cedric Peerman, OT Matthew O'Donnell, DT Nick Hayden, CB Rico Murray, OT Dennis Roland, TE Donald Lee, DE Robert Geathers, WR Ryan Whalen, G Otis Hudson, RB Tashard Choice, CB Brandon Ghee, LB Dan Skuta, WR Andre Caldwell(+17 M)
And with the 17th pick the Bengals select
DE Quinton Coples out of North Carolina.
Coples will rotate in the Bengals already young defensive line at both DE and DT. He has the size and ability to be a force for us versus both the run and pass. It is important to keep our bodies fresh, and Mike Zimmer will get to work his magic on another "beast" prospect. Carlos Dunlap, Michael Johnson, Quinton Coples, Geno Adtkins, Domata Peko... Be afraid... Be very afraid.
With the 21st pick in the draft, the Bengals select
WR Kendall Wright from Baylor
The Bengals had some difficult decisions to make. But with no real studs to line up next to AJ Green, we have decided that Kendall Wright has the talent and potential to be that player. We feel Wright will be a perfect compliment to AJ and give us another deep threat. He has great hands and will bring energy to a position of need. Welcome to Cincy Kendall!
With the 41st pick the Bengals select
OG Kelechi Osemele from Iowa State
The Bengals are furious the Packers jumped in front of them for Gilmore. But luckily for us, the cornerback depth is pretty solid in this draft. We have a huge need at RG, and we believe Osemele fills that need and he can start day 1. He has huge upside and will be a sight for sore eyes in Cincinnati as our interior line was our biggest weakness.
With Pick #85, the Bengals select
RB LaMichael James from Oregon
James will compete with Bernard Scott to be our #2 Back and receiving back. He is an electric player that will bring excitement every time he touches the football. Cincinnati needs more "homerun" type of players, and we feel we have added that with James and the earlier selection of Kendall Wright. _________________

We need to decide who are the candidates for the Franchise tag (if we even want to use it)
and start to decide which RFAs are worthy of being re-signed.
Some possible franchise tag candidates:
Manny Lawson (will probably see some action in FA)
Reggie Nelson (not really a top S, but who else do we have)
Mike Nugent (solid kicker)
Pat Sims (our best run stuffing DT)
Anthony Collins (great backup, solid starter, will likely get big money elsewhere) _________________

Franchise Nugent, won't be ungodly expensive to use the tag that way.
Throw ungodly amounts of money at one of Carl Nicks or Ben Grubbs _________________

Sign me up for something. I do not care which position. I am not on as much as before with the NBA season going on. So however I can help.
IMO, no franchise tag. We have no one that we should use it on. _________________
