I'm not crazy about blowing up our cap. I'd look at Crawford to play there. As I said during the draft last year, he's a 4-3 DE and never liked him in a 3-4 defense to begin with, so I'm very interested in seeing how he performs in the scheme he best suited for.
And if he sucks, go all-in for Clowney in 2014.

I'd be ok with Freeney, a a short term, if the price is right solution. But have to ask how a guy, whose life revolves around football didn't know we hired Kiffin and switched to a 43. Guy never watches SportsCenter or cracks open a newspaper? As a FA, I would think his agent would be privy to everything and keep him up-to-date at the minimum.

Never said give him a big free agent contract, actually I said only if he comes for a short term max 2 year deal, less than 4mil per season. |
