Yeah I bet the demand was low. It's not even a given that Foles will be the starter here. Nobody's giving up a ton for a 2nd year QB with not even half a season of NFL exp. who has one win under his belt. _________________

tommy brought up a good point, if the eagles traded foles they would have to turn around and use that pick on a qb. So it really didn't help them in anyway to do so. _________________

But in the end, it looks like Foles will stick around. Yet his style of offense will be different from the one Vick/Dixon run. _________________

I think Vick and Dixon are two different styles too.
It seems like most people are lumping Vick into the category of QBs capable of operating the "option" style offense, when in reality Vick hasn't done that in years and I'm not even sure he did that in college.
Billy Davis in an interview mentioned that teams (WASH, SF, SEA, etc.) are using that type of offense because their quarterbacks ran it recently in college and it comes natural to them... they've been using it!
Vick hasn't.
I think the offense is dynamically different if you have Foles, Vick, or Dixon in there. _________________

^That last line is spot on.
The Offense Andy used with Garcia/McNabb/Feeley/Kolb/Vick all changed according who was in it _________________

With the exception of Garcia and Feely it really didn't. _________________

Of course this assumes a certain suitor but get a 2nd for Foles, roll it into a 2014 1st. Trade our 2014 first and the Foles' 1st into whatever spot we want to and grab our blue chip QB. All assuming but potentially a better situation and prospect. _________________

At the end of the day Nick Foles is a 3rd round QB who was 1-5 as a starter with more career turnovers than TDs.
I don't think there was any legitimate chance for Eagles to get a 2nd round pick for him and additional picks on top of that
And not just any 2nd round pick but one as high as 34th |

At the end of the day Nick played allot better than Vick with that trash team. Even without Jackson, Herremans, and McCoy to an extent. _________________
