In 2013, the Packers will host the Redskins. 2013 also marks the 30th anniversary of the highest-scoring Monday night game in NFL history. On October 17, 1983, the Packers hosted and beat the Redskins 48-47, a total of 95 points between the two teams.
In 2013, October 17 falls on a Thursday. Therefore, it would be very fitting if the Redskins-Packers game in 2013 was played on that date. |

Interesting fact, but I'm not so sure the possible scheduling of one game next year is worthy of a thread.
