Yay! Much deserved. I had a little bit of doubt it might go to Wilson, but not much! _________________

RG3 well deserved he was the best and most consistent throughout the season. But i don't understand how Luck got 2nd place, Wilson was better. _________________

The best news was he walked out to the podium 4 weeks after major knee surgery. No crutches barely any limp. _________________

You can walk fine on a torn ACL, it's when you're trying to do athletic moves is when you have issues.
He even walked fine post-game against the Seahawks, before the surgery. _________________

| Quote: | He barely limped, if at all, in his first public appearance since undergoing surgery on Jan. 9 to revise the reconstruction of the ACL and repair the torn lateral collateral ligament in his right knee.
“It’s feeling good,” Griffin said. “I went through the toughest part already, so now it’s just about being smart, not pushing it too much. That’s what the doctors are there for, to keep me from doing too much.”
Griffin and his father said he is further ahead in his recovery than he was after the same amount of time following his ACL reconstruction surgery in 2009.
Griffin’s father, Robert Jr., suspects his son’s progress has been aided by the fact he did not lose much muscle mass in his right leg following the surgery. He said Robert III did not completely tear the right patellar tendon graft that served as his ACL. However, orthopedist James Andrews detected some instability at the top of the graft and believed it would serve Robert III best to completely revise the reconstruction using a patellar tendon graft from his left knee, Robert Jr. said. |
RG3: “I think you will see a different version of me. ...ou wont see the same Robert Griffin. You’ll see a better Robert Griffin.”

Rg3 claims he's ahead of schedule on his recovery from surgery on his Acl and LCL.
@TarikCSN: RG3's on his knee: "It’s feeling good." Story about his recovery here: http://t.co/LB9aHSZP #RedskinsTalk
| Quote: | “It’s feeling good,” Griffin said in his first public comments since the surgery to repair the ACL and LCL in his right knee last month. “I went through the toughest part already. So now it’s about being smart. Not pushing it too much. That’s what the doctors are there for, to keep me from doing too much.”
“I was ahead when I did it in 2009,” Griffin said, referring to the ACL surgery performed on the same knee while he played at Baylor. “And I’m a little bit ahead right now as well, as you guys can see. I have to be smart about it and think long term, not short term.”
“The good thing is this is offseason and I can get healthy,” he added. “I have enough time.”
“It helps me a lot because I know what peaks and valleys there are going to be, what milestones I need to hit and when I need to hit them and giving me the confidence to know that I can come back better than I was before,” he said. |

According to CSN Washington:
Our own Chick Hernandez, tweeted:
Sources tell me RGIII rehab going well. Docs cleared him 2 travel. RGIII will be @NewOrleans 2morrow nite to take part in NFL awards show.
Here is an update from Chick at 4:15 p.m.:
Rehab going well for @rgiii He’s up & walking. Will be in New Orleans tomorrow night. Finalist for NFL Offensive ROY
Chick could not confirm whether or not Griffin III would be on crutches.
So, is he walking without assistance? What will be the degree or his mobility?
Does this mean he is going to nab the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award? Those questions and more will be answered Saturday night.
I read that rg3 won't be on crutches

Yes! A Redskin actually won an on-the-field award! As said by pretty much everyone else, this is well deserved. I just hope and pray he's ready by the Summer. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan

Actually, I do not mind when he comes back.
I'd rather prefer he comes back 100% healthy and durable. Even only in 2014. |

I agree with you guys. I want to rephrase what I said before. "...pray he's FULLY HEALTHY by the Summer." If not, don't rush anything. Please, Danny boy. Please. _________________ RIP SuperSkinFan
