Barring injury, Nicks is the better player. Nicks has proven more thus far when he is on the field, and is truly a security blanket for Eli. I love the fact that Nicks can make plays on the ball even when he isn't open. I hope the Giants don't have to make a choice between the two, because these guys are perfect complements for each other. _________________

Nicks. Hes a receiver who can fet the jump ball, rarely drops anything and gets double covered, resulting in open players. I seriously see cruz as a diva. Once he got big, he was all over the place and in the limelight.
Theyll fight it out in 2013 _________________

Everyone hit the nail on the head, when healthy Im taking Nicks.
He's better at separating himself down the field, he's better at avoiding tackles and getting the extra yards. He's also got a higher vertical, and he's got better (not much) hands _________________

You sure about that? If I remember correctly, Cruz had a 40"+ vert at his Pro Day. Very, very impressive. _________________

I believe (could be wrong) that if the two were to go leap for leap Nicks would win. _________________

You could be right, but we will never know for sure. Closest thing to figure it out is recorded values. Nicks had a 37" vertical at the NFL Combine and Cruz had a 41.5" vertical at his Pro Day. _________________

Nicks is the better receiver, but I love these two so much I would hate it if it had to be one or the other. Nicks is my favorite football player and Cruz is just an extremely likable guy. They're both class-acts. The Giants would be extremely blessed to have these two retire with their organization. _________________

They both complement each other so well.
I'll say Nicks since he is more of a true split end. He's more explosive and creates great separation from the defender prior to the catch. _________________

In the dream world where there are no injures, Ill take Hakeem.
That world isnt real though.
Considering all things, I'll invest in Cruz. |

I just can't see any way that both guys are still on the roster in a years' time. I'd take Nicks barring any serious injury problems this season, he is a top bracket receiver.
Love me some a Cruz though, and I hate to think of him leaving without us getting anything in return. Let Miami take him before the draft and pick his replacement in round 2/3. _________________
