669 wouldn't be playing the position you referred to Kilt. Take a look at the player he's being compared to and see where they play. I would've preferred 669, but alas.

In the end 669's issue scarred me off, add that to the fact his position isn't of great importance in this scheme...and that a lot of people were fine with either.....I decided to go Dee, who sured up the few question marks I had about him at the combine....because on tape he played great.
As it stands now we have only Toler really. Mathis could perform ok....but it wasn't a very long term solution.
And With the needs of the teams picking before our 2nd....thought it'd be very slim pickings at corner once we were on the clock. |
meh there was more depth at corner in the 2nd and 3rd than at 669s position. Plenty of guys at the top of the 2nd who could come in and start.

WTF happened here? I thought we were down to 669, 677 and 676... Not once do I remember 243s name being brought up here. I don't mind it much much because of how horrible our CBs are but I would've much rather gotten 669 now and then taken either 597, 511 or 375 later. We seriously need to address the A position soon, and also should probably address the J position because I do not want parrot as our starter...

I brought it up and it kind of snowballed into the pick.

That was the initial thought all along, but the GM experienced a change of heart. The pick is in, and now we have to change the plan accordingly.

We brought up 243 several times between last night and the pick.
I think Milliner's awesome 40 time gave him the positive momentum he needed, plus it's more of a need for our current team.
On top of that, it looks like 669 has an issue, which gave him the negative momentum.
Just tipped the balance in Milliner's favor at the last moment.

I had a man crush since I saw him bump a WR out of the field on a fly route before the QB threw the ball and he still managed to get the INT.. I'm very happy with this pick

Not sure if UK dropped Bolt from the cap space yet, either.
