Why the heck would you want tolzein, the other backup is much better. In fact I'm thinking we should give Kap a rest every now and then and let him get a few snaps. |
Maybe have him run the wildcat too. A nice change of pace from the statue we have starting. |
Things starting to feel normal again RedWhiteNGold?  Now, let's get back to analyzing prospects so we can guess the wrong draft selection again.  |

just out of curiosity, what does everyone think we should do about the backup qb spot now? sign a veteran and let tolzien continue at third string? if so, what veteran? matt moore is the best of the bunch right now, though cassell, brady quinn and potentially ryan fitzpatrick will all be available as well. just please don't say josh johnson  . do we move tolzien up to back up and draft a developmental guy in rounds 6 or 7 (jordan rodgers ftw!).

draft the developmental guy I'd say. would be more cost effective seeing as Tolzein is a gamer anyway.

I liked what I saw from Matt Scott of Arizona today I think he could run our offense with the same style Kaep does. Manuel could be a nice pickup too with our comp 3rd

I know you said not to say Josh Johnson, but he honestly has a higher chance to be on our roster on week 1 than any rookie and most other FA QB.

Scott is worth a shot. Manuel will be 2nd or 3rd QB drafted once the draft rolls around...he'll be long gone for us. Another name I like is Sean Renfree(Duke). He's hurt now but he'll be ready for TC.

Well, he had 24 reps at the combine, and I'm pretty sure he's 1/64 royal, on his mother's side.
