I'm glad I was wrong and he made it through this time. I still don't understand why the HOF committee members had such a difficult time separating him, Andre Reed, and Tim Brown. They were on completely separate, easily discernable levels. As I stated before, I don't see Tim Brown as a HOFer. He might get in at some point, but to me he was just a good WR, not a great one. I'd put Marvin Harrison (eligible next year) in before I'd put Tim Brown in.

I dunno, I think Tim Brown deserves to get in, same with Andre Reed but I do agree with you that I would put Marvin in before Tim

I Dont think any reciever will make it next year but harrison will be the next one in

I doubt Harrison will make it on first ballot but I would be shocked if he does

With Carter going in this year, it makes it 5 Vikings in the last 6 years

2008: Zimmerman
2009: McDaniel
2010: Randle
2011: None
2012: Doleman
2013: Carter

Very nice! Next will be Brett Farve and then probably Randy Moss unless another Viking gets in before Moss

Even though it will count, most people won't count Favre as a Viking. Heck, I wouldn't. It's not like Favre played the substantive part of his career with the Vikings, unlike the above-mentioned players.

Outside of any potential senior candidates (Marshall/Tingelhoff), I don't see any other Viking players on the horizon anytime soon. Moss would be the next, because I don't see Joey Browner ever getting close.

There are plenty of other nominees like Favre that spent time in Vikings unis, but I wouldn't consider true Vikings:

Randall Cunningham
Roger Craig
Herschel Walker
Chris Hinton
Darryl Talley
Morten Andersen
Gary Anderson

Agreed. BTW I left Moon off the list, who was inducted in 2006.

Of current Vikings I would say both Peterson and Allen are likely and Kwill has a chance.

Of course Peterson will get in, Allen will too but I doubt Williams will, yes, he has a good career but he was not great like Randle and Page and Williams does not have the stats to get in either

He doesn't have great stats necessarily but he is a 5 time all-pro and that's significant.

True but I think it might be a long time until he gets in though

Mick Tinglehoff needs to go in. Played more games and has more all pros thatn Jim Otto who is in the HOF.
