It will be interesting to see the players Chud, Turner and Horton are able to lure from their prior team affiliations.

Wonder how it will compare with what H&H&S were able to reel in from theirs?

...or what Mangini was able to bring in from the Jets, or what any new HC, OC, or DC was able to bring in based on his history of working with players

But I really wonder what the team would look like if Chud, Turner, Horton, Haslam, and Lombardi inherited the team that was on our roster after the 2010 season.

Not sure Haslam would have bought the team in that condition or, if he did, that he would have attracted any of that coaching staff.

Not trying to be negative but we did attract Norv after he was fired and had no HC opportunities, and Horton after he was passed over for every HC job he tried for and then was fired from the Cards....

We weren't scraping the bottom of the barrel, but I'm not sold we got the cream of the crop either.....

I respectfully disagree. Some coaches like Turner and Crennell are better as co-ordinaters. Horton most likely would have been a head coach if he coached the offense. This was the year teams seemed to want offensive minded coaches. Shoot Lovie Smith was 10-6 this year and got fired because the bears wanted an offensive minded coach.

In terms of coordinators? I'd say we got some of the best available.

I mean, compare Norv and Horton to the rest of the new coordinators:

Chicago- Aaron Kromer and Mel Tucker
Buffalo- Nathaniel Hackett and Mike Pettine
San Diego- Ken Whisenhunt (And John Pagano already on staff)
Kansas City- Doug Pederson and Bob Sutton
Philadelphia- Pat Shurmur and Vacant
Arizona- Harold Goodwin and Todd Bowles
Jacksonville- Jedd Fisch and Bob Babich

I dont think you can say any of those coordinator hires are demonstrably better than ours. And rare though it is I think consensus around the league would agree with that.

I agree we did pretty well. Now head coach remains to be seen. I think it will certainly help to have the coordinators he has, he can focus on time management and atta boys.
