My version of what I think the browns should do in fa and the draft. Would love to hear your guys opinions too.
Cuts: Hodges & Skrine
FA:
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
Mike Wallace
Paul Kruger
Luis Vasquez
Phil Dawson
Ben Watson
Draft:
1. Dion Jordan LB Oregon (an absolute freak, scary to think of what Horton will do with this guy)
3. Bacarri Rambo S Georgia (him and ward will be the scariest s combo in the league hard-hitting and can also get int's)
4. Jordan Reed TE Florida ( will be the 2nd TE with Watson and can learn a lot from him)
5. Jelani Jenkins LB Florida (plays the game hard, hits hard, good competition for jmj or just another depth LB which we need
6. Tommy Bohanon FB Wake Forest (need a FB and IMO he's the best in this draft
7. Nico Johnson LB Alabama (another good depth LB that can learn from Dqwell
7. Ryan Allen P Louisiana Tech (no more hodges)
UDFA: Kicker and CB
Roster:
QB:Weeden
RB:Trent
FB: Bohanon
WR: Wallace, Gordon, Little, Bejamin
TE: Watson, Reed, Cameron
LT: Thomas
LG: Vasquez
C: Mack
RG: Pinkston
RT: Schwartz
LE: Rucker, Hughes
RE: Sheard, Winn
DT: Rubin, Taylor
OLB: Dion Jordan, Kruger, Jenkins
ILB: Nico Johnson, Maiva, Dqwell, JMJ, Robertson
CB: Haden, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Bademosi
FS: Rambo
SS: Ward
P: Allen
K: Dawson
Let me know epwhat you guys think. Thanks.

I don't know if I like dysert that much maybe another LB instead I think u have to give Weeden a chance and I think LB would be a bigger need as of now than qb but I like it a lot otherwise |

If you replace the TE with Michael Williams, A+. I'm. OT sure we need to replace BOTH guards, however. Warford or Rinehart (I prefer Levitre). _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

I would love for star to be a brown our dline would be up there with the lions if not better but I feel like we would have to trade some dlineman to get him we would just have too many |

The most important decision is QB and the likelihood of acquiring a franchise QB this year via draft, FA, or trade is marginal unless Alex Smith is the real deal. If Weeden develops on schedule for 2nd year, Turner will put him in a winning position and Browns should make playoffs with the addition of five starters: 3 FA's and #1,3, 4 draft picks. Also, we might find FB and P in late rounds. If not, McCoy is capable backup and Browns would have high draft pick for QB but have completed their core foundation on O and D line.
QB-Weeden and McCoy battle it out
FB-Marceic or Smelley must run block in Turner offense, if not then draft 5-6
RB-TR, Hardesty, Fraser
TE-resign Watson, Cameron, either draft 4 or FA
G-we need a G that can run block with authority as well as pass block, best option is Lauvao, Greco, Pinkston and FA Levitre
T-Thomas/Schwartz
C-Mack
Bottom line is we use FA to fill G, TE and or WR(Bowe) position
Special Teams
Resign Dawson and Cribbs
Replace Hodges if he does not pass muster with 5-6 pick
Use all LB's and sure tacklers
DE-need RDE via draft or FA
LB-need speed playmaker OLB with 1st rd pick, and veteran FA
CB-trade down #1 and pick up CB in 2nd
S Byrd FA would fill big need
Bottom line is we use the draft for OLB, RDE, CB |

FA:
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
Dwayne Bowe
Connor Barwin
Chad Rinehart
Phil Dawson
Ben Watson
Draft: IMO if damontre Moore isn't there, trade down to a team like TB for their 1st and 2nd rounders
1. Alec Ogletree LB Georgia
2. Larry Warford G Kentucky
3. Bacarri Rambo S Georgia
4. Jelani Jenkins LB Florida
5. Gavin Escobar TE SDSU
6. Tyrann Mathieu CB LSU
7. Nico Johnson LB Alabama
7. Ryan Allen P Louisiana Tech
UDFA: Kansas State FB
Roster:

FB: Braden Wilson

Is this happens albeit a little far fetched browns could definitely be a playoff team in my mind. But we have to remember that we will go as far as Trent and Weeden take us. Please give your opinion about my version and what you think they should do

Why does eveyone keep forgetting about Hughes. I promise you that he will start at DE over Winn. |

I feel that Wynn is probably more agile and mobile.
I love Hughes, but I think he is a better NT than anything.
Not that I'd hate either of them there. _________________

John Hughes, 6-2 320, yup that's a back up nose tackle I I've ever seen it. Oh and I love it too because that means we're deep at nose.
Billy Winn by the way is 6-4 295, with that size and as athletic as he is I think he'll be a nasty 5 tech DE in the 3/4. IMO _________________ "If you can't stand the neural activity, than stay out of the neural activator" -Professor Fink
