I'm pretty sure we'll be mentioned as possible suitors for every FA (or possible FA) QB. It's happened for like 3 or 4 years straight now

Makes sense. I'm hoping the Bills ultimately bring in one FA and then draft two.

If they trade for smith that is 2 picks spent on veteran qbs this year plus drafting one the bills dont have many picks and to spend 3 picks on one position that to me isnt worth it. Lets not forget you will pay smith his 7-8 million plus fitz 10 million cap hit. then pay a rookie qb as well thats alot of money.
I rather see the bills resign the players they need to pay Byrd and levitre and go after a guy like bowe. Then bring in a cheaper veteran qb to be a bridge for a year or two. I think cutting Fitz is a must so they can take on all the cap hits this years since they can afford to and not have to worry about the 7 million cap hit next year if he is kept for 2013 season.
